A passing score on a department administered writing proficiency assessment or submit a minimum score on the Praxis CORE Writing of 162.

The Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision is a 30 credit-hour, online program centered around K-12 administration. The Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision provides the following two tracks: Initial 许可 and Career Level. The Initial 许可 track curriculum is for candidates seeking to receive their K-12 administrator license. The Career Level track curriculum is for existing K-12 administrators.

Delta State University is pleased to offer credit toward Educational Specialist and Doctorate of Professional Studies degrees in Educational Administration and Supervision (EAS) for successful completers of the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) professional development program.

In order to be completely admitted to a graduate program, applicants have to be admitted to the university and satisfy the standards set by the selected degree program.

Program coursework provides the knowledge needed to pass the SLLA licensure exam. Standards from the Interstate School Leaders 许可 Consortium are incorporated throughout the program. Hands-on experience and classes combine leadership theory and practice to prepare students for the industry.

To graduate from the program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Complete all program of study coursework
  • Establish and maintain an adequate rating on the Professional Dispositions Rating Scale
  • Successfully complete the comprehensive examination
  • 保持最少3个.25 GPA on program coursework

The Educational Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision degree program 只有 leads to licensure in the state of Mississippi.
